The website "responsible pet lover" has been created by Fort Dodge Animal Health, manufacturers of ProMeris Duo®, flea and tick control for dogs and ProMeris® flea control for cats.
Dog and cat lovers want nothing less than the best for their pet. Good nutrition, a quiet place to sleep, daily exercise and a good fuss and cuddle are all things that pet owners ensure their pets receive and you and your pet benefit from this daily interaction. In return, you are rewarded with a contented purr, an upturned stomach ready for scratching or a ball dropped at your feet ready for playtime.
So what does being a responsible pet owner mean? It means that the responsibility of your cat or dogs' welfare rests squarely with you, the pet owner. Their welfare not only means, providing the correct shelter, food and exercise, but ensuring that your pet is well adapted to society; and that you are aware when your pet is ill and that your pet should be protected from disease and parasites.
